Last year was actually a pretty good year for short fiction: the Story Prize has recommendations. (See if you can match the recommendations with the advisory board.)
I like Maureen McHugh’s book a lot (and I liked her reading at Mac’s way back too) and her blog posts are very long and make me feel stalkerish.
Apparently FOX has finally cut the cord and this means another network can finally reattach it. Here is some news on the network that is going to save our show:
February 28, 2006 — THAT fans of “Arrested Development” can relax. Word is Showtime not only picked up the canceled Fox show but also ordered 26 more episodes.
