Thought I might add that this poem was done from a pretty good article about Rembrandt in the NYTimes.
I originally circled “he mortgaged himself to” and “art” but thought that wasn’t very transformative or whatever, and blacked out the “ot” in “other” to make “her”. Then it just flowed from there.
Sorry, that was kind of a boring explanation.
