F*** this: Ernie Pook’s Comeek has been dropped from alternative papers all over the country — including the Austin Chronicle. I wondered last week where it went. Only good news is that now D + Q will post them online.

Sucks to be sane. I’m really looking forward to the D&Q collection as all my rectangular Pook collections have been second hand of necessity, and it’ll be nice to buy them in a format that’ll send some money Lynda’s way.

One less reason to read the Chronicle each week… I’m still sore over them dropping The Straight Dope a few years back. At least Shannon Wheeler’s mini-comics and Sam Hurt’s “Eyebeam” have returned to their pages.
For the record, I’ve been reading Lynda Barry’s panels for over a decade, but didn’t know that it was called “Ernie Pook’s Comeek”!
